For years, I worked as a sales rep in the gift industry. While shoppers cleaned out the candy aisle at the local drug store, I was up in the buyers office talking about the new line of Fall plush turkeys and pumpkin spiced candles they could order, with a reminder to get their Christmas orders in before all of those bestselling items (reindeer antlers for dogs,) are sold out. I had an advanced case of seasonal confusion, and I’ve never quite recovered.
