Erin MacPherson is a Christian author and speaker who lives in Austin, TX with her husband, Cameron, an assistant principal, and her three children, Josiah (5) and Kate (3) and Will (2 weeks). Her debut book, "The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby" (Guideposts, March 2011) is a comprehensive pregnancy guide that not only guides women through the ins and outs of pregnancy, but also points women towards Christ every step of the way.
In addition to being a full-time stay-at-home mom, Erin works part-time as the managing editor for WeAreTeachers.com and was a former staff writer and editor for Nickelodeon. She has been published on various websites including www.nickjr.com, www.parentsconnect.com, www.mops.org and will be published in the July, 2011 issue of MomSense Magazine. She also blogs at www.christianmamasguide.com.
Erin's passion is to guide young Christian women through the trials of pregnancy and parenthood in a way that always directs them to seek Jesus. She always points women towards scripture, prayer and encourages them to build community with other Christian women through community group partnership, accountability and organizations like MOPS.
